≈ 3,500 km
Birding Safari

Safari Overview

This is the safari of a lifetime — 35 days exploring every corner of Uganda's extraordinary biodiversity. From the papyrus swamps where Shoebills stalk their prey to the snow-line of the Rwenzori Mountains, from the remote wilderness of Kidepo Valley to the mist-shrouded Albertine Rift forests, this journey leaves nothing unexplored. Target over 1,000 bird species — more than half of Africa's avifauna — including Uganda's only endemic Fox's Weaver, the legendary Green-breasted Pitta, and the complete suite of 23+ Albertine Rift endemics. Combine world-class birding with mountain gorilla encounters, chimpanzee tracking, and photography across landscapes that range from sun-baked savannahs to cloud forests.
