Day 2: Gorilla Tracking, Batwa Community & Nature Walk
Morning – Gorilla Tracking
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park’s dense bamboo forests and afro-montane slopes are alive with sound: leaves rustle, birds chatter, and distant chimp-like hoots signal the presence of gorillas. As you approach, the hoot, grunt, and chest-beating of gorillas resonates through the forest, a thrilling prelude to the encounter.
The Experience:
After briefing at the park HQ, trek through misty bamboo forests.
You may hear gorillas before you see them, creating a heart-pounding anticipation.

Continue to Kampala, enjoying rolling hills and rural scenery along the way.
