Day 2 – Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Evening Rhino Tracking

Located approximately 3–4 hours north of Kampala, Ziwa is a conservation success story. The sanctuary spans 70 km² of protected savannah and wetlands, providing a safe haven for Uganda's only wild Southern White Rhinos and over 300 bird species.
Activity Detail
After an early breakfast, drive north toward the sanctuary. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon, head out for Rhino Tracking on Foot. Accompanied by expert rangers, you will observe these magnificent herbivores at a safe distance — a rare opportunity for close-range photography, capturing rhino behavior and their symbiotic avian companions.
